Spark AR textures – Free color LUT PNG and Assets

Hello there! I’m here to share with you how to get free Color Lut png for your Spark AR projects.

If you read my last post, What is Spark AR? All you need to know and you were actually able to kickstart your Augmented Reality (AR) career, I’m here to extend to you my wholehearted congratulations. And if you haven’t, I’m still here to tell you that it isn’t too late. Spark AR studio is only a download away.

In my Spark AR journey, at first, I had a lot of difficulties navigating the system, especially when I thought I now had to pay $10/month for a Photoshop subscription (I didn’t).

NB: Photoshop is required when making face filters from scratch and such.

Particularly because I was focused on learning and creating Color filters, I found myself inclined towards needing Color Lut pngs, Textures like grain, dust etc.

After thorough research, here is my Google drive that contains well over 40 FREE LUTS. This also includes fonts that can be used in 2D Text elements. In case you’re looking for more fonts to use in your Spark AR design, kindly check this out.

BONUS – Android users, you’re in luck!

Irfan Lesner, a member of the Meta Spark community on Facebook has created an Android app called Spark AR Assets. It is an app which generates Color LUT PNGs within seconds. All you have to do is edit a picture within the app and once you’ve edited to your satisfaction, you’d generate an 8×8 color LUT PNG that looks exactly the same in filters as it does on the photo. The link is right below.
