1. DARING GREATLY – BRENE BROWN
Amazon Review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 4.8/5
Goodreads Review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 4.29/5
ABOUT THE BOOK:
How the Courage to Be Vulnerable Transforms the Way We Live, Love, Parent, and Lead.
In a world where “never enough” dominates and feeling afraid has become second nature, vulnerability is subversive. Uncomfortable. It’s even a little dangerous at times. And without question, putting ourselves out there means there’s a far greater risk of getting criticized or feeling hurt.
But when we step back and examine our lives, we will find that nothing is as uncomfortable, dangerous, or hurtful as standing on the outside looking in and wondering what it would be like if we had the courage to step into the arena. Daring Greatly is a practice and a powerful vision for letting ourselves be seen.

3. IT DIDN’T START WITH YOU – MARK WOLYNN
Amazon Review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 4.7/5
Goodreads Review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 3.6/5
ABOUT THE BOOK:
A groundbreaking approach to transforming traumatic legacies passed down in families over generations, by an acclaimed expert in the field.
Depression. Anxiety. Chronic Pain. Phobias. Obsessive thoughts. The evidence is compelling: the roots of these difficulties may not reside in our immediate life experience or in chemical imbalances in our brains—but in the lives of our parents, grandparents, and even great-grandparents.
The latest scientific research, now making headlines, supports what many have long intuited—that traumatic experience can be passed down through generations. It Didn’t Start with You builds on the work of leading experts in post-traumatic stress, including Mount Sinai School of Medicine neuroscientist Rachel Yehuda and psychiatrist Bessel van der Kolk, author of The Body Keeps the Score. Even if the person who suffered the original trauma has died, or the story has been forgotten or silenced, memory and feelings can live on.
These emotional legacies are often hidden, encoded in everything from gene expression to everyday language, and they play a far greater role in our emotional and physical health than has ever before been understood.

4. CURED – DR. JEFF REDIGER
Amazon Review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 4.6/5
Goodreads Review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 4.5/5
ABOUT THE BOOK:
When it comes to disease, who beats the odds ― and why?
When it comes to spontaneous healing, skepticism abounds. Doctors are taught that “miraculous” recoveries are flukes, and as a result they don’t study those cases or take them into account when treating patients.
Enter Dr. Jeff Rediger, who has spent over 15 years studying spontaneous healing, pioneering the use of scientific tools to investigate recoveries from incurable illnesses. Dr. Rediger’s research has taken him from America’s top hospitals to healing centers around the world―and along the way he’s uncovered insights into why some people beat the odds. In Cured, Dr. Rediger digs down to the root causes of illness, showing how to create an environment that sets the stage for healing. He reveals the patterns behind healing and lays out the physical and mental principles associated with recovery: first, we need to physically heal our diet and our immune systems. Next, we need to mentally heal our stress response and our identities.
Through rigorous research, Dr. Rediger shows that much of our physical reality is created in our minds. Our perception changes our experience, even to the point of changing our physical bodies―and thus the healing of our identity may be our greatest tool to recovery.
