The Lost Tribe Islamabad restaurant is an all new, Pukhtun inspired eatery that has captured the attention of many because of its traditional yet contemporary design. It is a fusion of the culturally significant elements held by the Pukhtun tribe as well as the diverse and modern elements we can see in restaurants ambiance now.
I had the opportunity of sitting in the outdoor space, which starkly resembles many Moroccan settlements, and coupled with the spring breeze, it was the perfect combination. The indoor space however tells an entirely different story, it comes alive with its many vibrant lights and intricate design and furniture. The ambiance is definitely one that is traditional yet modern, a stark contrast I know, but The Lost Tribe makes it work.
And lest I forget, The Lost Tribe is a sister restaurant, with its second and third branches located AT MM Alam Road Lahore and Link Road Lahore respectively.
LOCATION: 5th Floor Olympus Mall, F-11, Islamabad, Pakistan.

BUDGET: $15- $30 (PKR 4,100- 8,000) for 2 people. All prices are exclusive of taxes. I had the Ribs with Kabuli Pulao for PKR4,495 + Soft Drinks for PKR245. Including Taxes and a tip, my total was that of PKR5,100 ($18). Below you’ll find the video of the Ribs and Kabuli Pulao.
PERSONAL NOTE: I absolutely had a splendid time at The Lost Tribe. The menu, I agree is a bit more costly as compared to other restaurants, but the portion sizes are excellent and is definitely enough for as much as 3 people. I’ll definitely be visiting the branches in Lahore.
